Calgary Economic Development, through its Global Business Centre, is pleased to welcome Duncan Bureau, Vice President, Sales, Cargo and Owner of the WestJet, as the featured speaker at the February GBC a.m.
Mr. Bureau will speak about the company's growth plans and its international expansion program. Launched in 1996 and based on the low cost carrier model, WestJet currently serves an impressive 71 destinations in 14 countries in North America and the Caribbean with major hubs in Calgary and Toronto.

About the speaker:
Duncan Bureau has 20 years of experience working with and managing professionals' in Canada, Europe, Middle East, Africa the United States and over the last nine years with WestJet, WestJet Vacations and WestJet Cargo. Duncan joined WestJet in April 2001 as a revenue management analyst, moved into business development where he worked on the launch of WestJet's first co-branded credit card and off balance sheet loyalty program. Duncan was named one of the Top 25 Travel executives in North America by BTN in Washington DC in 2008 the only Canadian named to this list.
